Meet Kayla

Anti-Diet Advocate/Body Image Transformer 

Hey there....I'm Kayla Douthitt! A Kentucky born and raised gal on a mission helping mommas reach their fullest potential and love themselves fully!

Being a mom is a gift, but it's also HARD!  I'm a boy mom and that has brought a whole new meaning towards body image, self-care, and self-love! 

 

I struggled with anorexia and binge eating for 10 years and started my first diet at age 15. Like most girls, I wanted to fit in and look good. Little did I need know this would take me on downward spiral of anorexia, binge eating, and depression. There were nights of uncontrollable calorie counting, days of skipping meals, hiding food, and lots of over-exercising. There were even times where I felt “normal”. Little did I know, I was killing myself...mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

 

​At 25 years old, I hit rock bottom. I knew I couldn't live my life in fear because what I secretly needed was freedom. I needed the freedom to not be afraid of food, freedom to feel good in my own skin, and freedom to love myself without looking back. Through intuitive eating and changing my mindset I was able to do just that!

 

Now fully recovered, I know the tools it takes towards healing from the inside out. I use a variety of coaching techniques to help mommas ditch the diet through intuitive eating, ways to obtain a better mindset, making time for yourself and your family, and healing towards body acceptance.
